Keep your scalp and hair healthy while at home with these tips from our Global Creative Director.
Start by “scientific brushing,” a technique used to remove dead skin from your scalp while promoting healthy hair. Use a natural material brush, hold it close to your scalp, and do short little sweeps with it. We’d also suggest you try our dry scalp treatment to help eliminate buildup and an irritated scalp.
Rather than washing your hair everyday at home, use Perfect hair Day™ Dry Shampoo to absorb excess oil, sweat, and odor. Just shake, hold the can 6-10” away from hair, and spray in an upward motion. Then, wait 30 seconds and massage to remove powder.
When you do wash your hair, use a detangler, like Restore Perfecting Spray, right after the shower to detangle and prevent breakage when brushing. Use a wet brush and comb through, starting at the ends and working your way up.
If you are shampooing daily, start at the ends and work your way up through the middle before gently massaging into the scalp.
Use a conditioning mask 1-2 times per week to build healthy, strong, and beautiful hair.
