How to Use

Good but not perfect

"4 stars because Living Proof's Full line is so good. But I bought this because the Full cream I love so much was out of stock, and I don't think this is as good. It does provide fullness, but it gives a little stiff feeling to the hair that the cream doesn't. Also the spray is more difficult to apply evenly than the cream. I gave up and just poured the product into my hands to distribute in my hair. Overall, recommended for fullness but I would recommend the cream more strongly."

Love the spray, hate the dispenser

"This product is great when it works. However, each time I've used it the sprayer is defective after one try. It gets jammed up and doesn't mist the spray as it should. Yes I've ran it under hot water but it's not the spray hole it's the internal components that can't seem to handle the viscosity of the liquid. Really frustrating. LP has replaced this for me, but the problem is consistent with each bottle I've received."

"I’ve tried to like it but this product is not for me. I carefully applied it according to directions, but it makes my hair feel like straw. I tried less product, all things, and I wish I could return this. I couldn’t even see any change in volume due to the dry, brittle feel it gave my fine thin hair."

What is new with your root lifting spray? What has been changed ? I bought it a few years ago & quite using it cause I found it very sticky.
Full Root Lift has been replaced by Full Volume & Root-lifting Spray. It features a similar formula design to Root Lift, but with updated ingredients for more enhanced benefits.
Is this product only for the roots? I use the full thickening mousse but i notice that it makes my hair a little bit greasy and sticky. And i hope with the root lift it doesn't. I notice that there is alchohol in the root lift. Does that dries your hair out or not?
Yes, this should only be applied to the roots and then combed through. Not all alcohols are bad! There are fatty alcohols used in hair care that act as conditioning agents and are good for your hair. Other alcohols used in aerosols are often play the role of a vehicle for performance driving ingredients and flash off when the formula is evacuated.
I have curly fine hair- I use a diffuser and “scrunch “, would this work for me as far as increasing volume?
Yes, when the product is applied to the root it can help with volume and the heat from the diffuser will help give even more volume!
