If you have a strong curl pattern, dry detangling prior to cleansing and conditioning may be helpful for you to work the care products throughout your hair easily when wet.

The Curl shampoo & conditioner were designed for the curl consumer to keep to their curl routine. If you typically comb in the shower, you should continue to do so. Detangling and forming your curls in the shower, will deliver the best results when styling post shower.

Depending on your hair type, you may need to detangle your hair after using Curl Shampoo & Conditioner. If you need a detangler, Restore Perfecting Spray will help detangle and provide leave in detangler.

All curl patterns require different types of styling support! Weaker curl patterns may require scrunching your curls to form curl groupings while stronger textures maybe require a comb/brush to start forming curl grouping in the shower. Using Curl Conditioner for any type of styling techniques in the shower, will make it a lot easier to work with. After forming any type of in shower curl styling with rinse out products, follow with a soft rinse (low pressure) to not disturb your curl pattern.

Co-washes do not have a surfactant system that will properly cleanse the scalp and hair. Incorporating a shampoo into a curl routine, will help keep the scalp and hair healthy.
