Start off with 5-10 pumps of the Full Root Lifting Spray on towel-dried hair right at the roots. Comb through and style using heat. Fleurette, great question! Although you can use the Root Lifting Spray without head, for it to fully work, it really does require heat. It adheres to the hair as it dries, then holds it as is. If you were to use it without heat, you would have to literally hold your hair straight up until it’s completely dry!
