Ok, I live in Hilo, Hawaii–it IS the humid, frizzy hair capitol of the world as far as I am concerened. With the surrounding salt water, rain and hot temps–it has been impossible to have controlled hair; I am portuguese (pottagee) and have inherited the bushy/frizzy type of hair. UNTIL I tried this LivingProof shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in conditioner. This has worked to tame the uncontrolled hair. Previously, I have gone to the extreme of having my hair permanently straightened, paying $500 at a time for controlled hair. It lasts for 5 months–which is great; but it is a grueling process (it takes 6 to 8 hours). Living Proof products has replaced this process for me. Yes, their shampoo, conditioner and leave-in conditioner are not cheap, but they work without having to endure the permanent straightening process. I am so happy the scientists developed this chemical in this product and to anyone that has cared about how important this is to a person’s self-confidence. I now feel wonderful!—without the anxiety of looking in the mirror constantly to ‘check’and of the constant pulling my hair back to avoid the scary, wild hair look. THANK YOU! I saw a feature for this on the Doctor’s show, and went to the website the minute it was over, found out where I could buy it, and purchased it. The representitive at Sephora had never heard of it, I had to explain it to her. Then, we discussed what was the best type for my hair. It is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I have used HUNDREDS of products, and NOTHING has worked the way this has. I am of mixed races; hispanic, black, and Caribbean-American, so my hair is very fine.
