Hold Flexible Hairspray

A month after we Living Proof previewed Hold Flexible Hairspray on QVC, we’re thrilled to announce the launch of Hold right here on livingproof.com—just in time for summer!

Hold has already generated a lot of buzz. At QVC’s Beauty Bash, testers couldn’t believe how shiny and natural their styles looked after having it sprayed with Hold. After all, “natural” and “shiny” aren’t words typically associated with most hairsprays.

Hold Flexible Hairspray doesn’t just add control and shine – it adds another line of defense against your hairstyle’s worst enemy: humidity. Whether you’re styling your hair for a weddingor even a summer barbeque, humidity can ruin your style leaving your hair looking limp and dull. In comes Living Proof’s patented PolyfluoroEster technology that creates a barrier between your hair and humidity.

Additionally, Hold leaves your hair flexible and natural looking, without the flaking and stiff feeling of traditional hairsprays, while still keeping your hair intact. Sounds impossible, right? Keep in mind that Hold uses a a unique blend of polymers that creates a web to hold hair strands together without freezing them into place. This innovative new web allows for flexibility, while still providing sufficient hold.

With Hold Flexible Hairspray, you’ll be ready for whatever the summer throws at you, be it rain or shine!

Will we be getting a sample of this?

I’d sooo love to try this, but it, along with the other Living Proof products i’ve tried, is stupidly expensively. I’m drawing the line at a $24 hairspray, especially since I’ve hated the smell of the other products I’ve tried (no frizz; full). Worse, hair spray is something which tends to get in your face when your hair is shoulder-length or longer (mine is) so you smell it frequently, and it usually clashes with your cologne besides. No tiny can of hair spray filled with plastics is worth $24.

I agree about the price. Yikes! I bit the bullet though and bought it. Very disappointing. It did absolutely nothing for my hair … like using no hairspray at all. And, YES, it smells bad, although the smell seems to disappear. I love FULL and was quite disappointed with this product.

I have long, thick ,naturally curly hair. I like to flat iron it straight and then use a big barrel curling iron to add softer, flowing curls. I’m hoping that living proof will come out with a spritz that will offer more hold to finish a style. I use the LP shampoo, conditioner, leave in conditioner, and treatment to make hair straight. After styling I use the hairspray. The hairspray is too light and airy to offer enough hold especially for thick, coarse hair. Once you go outside along comes the staticky, flyaway hairs. The curling iron curl still retains some of it’s shape but the whole look is ruined because of the static and flyaways. I’ve always used a spritz even prior to Living Proof to finish a style because it was more concentrated to give a better hold. Living Proof hairspray does work to give extra hold/control if you are wearing your hair “totally straight”. To hold/control a “curling iron” style, it doesn’t do a good enough job. Living Proof, any plans to come out with a spritz or a spray that offers better hold for thick, coarse hair???
