i have used relaxers on my hair to straighten it for years. And with the TX heat, blow dryers, flat irons it takes it toll after awhile. Ive tried “heat protection” products but they only work so so or leave my hair feeling sticky.

I am Afro American. My hair is fine, soft, colored. I wear it natural, which I love. But as soon as I go outside , I don’t love it anymore. I live in Atlanta, humid, HOT hotlanta. I’ve tried every product there is. My hair shrinks as soon as I step outside. Plus I sweat in my head. Should I use a hair spray to set my curls? Please, please HELP!!!!!!!!!

Great questions, Jackie. You can absolutely use either a gel or hairspray to help hold your style, but more importantly you need protection from all of that humidity! Any one of our No Frizz styling products, especially when combined with the rest of the complete No Frizz system, will give you that protection. To help determine which styling product will be best for you, you can either use our diagnostic tool at http://livingproof.com/how_to_choose.php, or give our customer service team a buzz at 866-240-9933.
