Jill Beraud is a global leader of multi-billion dollar iconic brands in fashion, beauty and consumer products. Prior to joining Living Proof, Jill was President of their Starbucks/Lipton Joint Ventures and Global Chief Marketing Officer at Pepsico, where she was responsible for developing brand and marketing strategies for PepsiCo's $60 billion portfolio of food and beverage brands. Previously, Jill spent 13 years at Limited Brands as CMO of Victoria's Secret and EVP of Marketing for its broader portfolio of specialty brands, including Bath & Body Works, C.O. Bigelow, Express, Henri Bendel, and Limited Stores. She began her career at Procter & Gamble. Jill received her MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BS from Boston University.
Co-founder and General Partner, Polaris Venture Partners
Jon originated Living Proof's vision of assembling a team of medical and biotech scientists to develop advanced technology for consumer hair and skin products. Jon served as CEO of Living Proof from November 2010 through December 2011. He is also the co-founder and a managing general partner of Polaris Venture Partners, a $3 billion venture capital fund with offices in Boston, New York City, and San Francisco. Jon's current board seats include Athletes' Performance and JibJab Media.
CEO and President, Lands' End
Prior to Lands' End, Edgar was Executive Vice President of Global Business Development for Liz Claiborne, Inc. He has previously led other top luxury brands as CEO of Juicy Couture and President of L'Oréal Luxury Product Division Europe/U.S. He brings to the board valuable expertise in portfolio management of global beauty brands, as well as extensive knowledge in people and resource management to create long-term sustainable growth.
Senior Counsel, Covington & Burling
Peter has had his hands in almost every major food and drug law passed in the last 35 years. He served as chief counsel for the FDA and long term outside counsel of the Personal Care Products Council, the Grocery Manufacturers of America and the Council for Responsible Nutrition. In recent years, he has become deeply involved in the biotech field and helps Living Proof understand regulatory issues.
MIT Institute Professor
Bob is one of the most accomplished scientists in the world. He is one of the 13 Institute Professors at MIT, one of the largest patent holders in the world and the recipient of many awards for his incredible achievements in biotechnology. He was awarded the National Medal of Science in 2006 and is the youngest person ever elected into all three of the national academies. Bob is a key advisor and idea generator for the scientific discovery at Living Proof.
Partner, Polaris Venture Partners
Amir has been investing in technology breakthroughs at Polaris since 2002. During this time, he has helped start companies in areas ranging from bioactive devices to stem cells to consumer devices to energy. As the startup CEO of Living Proof (then named Andora), Amir led much of our early technological innovation and creation. Prior to joining Polaris, Amir did basic research on advanced composite materials and bioactive micro-machines at UC Berkeley, and polymers and neural stem cells at MIT.

Professor of Dermatology, Harvard Medical School
Rox is an interdisciplinary researcher in photomedicine, the combination of the physics of light with medicine. His contributions include laser hair removal, photodynamic therapy (use of light-activated localized drugs for cancer and macular degeneration), and basic research into the free electron laser for the selective destruction of lipids (i.e. fats) for possible treatment of acne, cellulite, and atherosclerosis, as well as various uses of photothermolysis using pulsed dye lasers. Rox has been overseeing Living Proof's clinical and technology development in skincare.
